Getting Business Broadband In Your Area

What home and business broadband services are available vary across the UK. It’s not necessarily true that if your company premises is located in a big city like Edinburgh, London, or Birmingham, you’ll have better access and wider choice. Some residents of South Glamorgan in Wales, for example, have access to fibre optic internet capabilities through a pilot scheme where Manchester or Glasgow companies don’t (yet!).

Use our online tool to discover which personal and business broadband options are open to you and there may be a surprise in store. Just type in your post code and your phone number if you want to add that, and you’ll see a range of options we can set up for you complete with pricing information and expected maximum download speeds.

Access to fibre optic business broadband is still relatively rare, although the network is growing rapidly. However, high speed DSL connections will suit most business broadband users perfectly well. We can often get you download speeds of 20 Mbps or more with these services.

Almost all homes and businesses can get broadband with download speeds of around 8 Mbps through ADSL connections. These use the existing copper cabling of BT’s telephone systems to transmit digital information along with the analogue phone signal. They are many times faster than a standard dial-up internet connection and don’t interrupt phone service either. As long as there is a wire phone line, ADSL is generally easy to arrange. We can help you get the best possible business broadband connection wherever you are in the UK.
