Datacallers UK is a call centre based in South Wales and the nature of their business dictates that many people are on the phone at one time. When 5G sorted them out with a state of the art IP Telephone System, they were confident in the amount of money that they would save on phone calls. They didn't, however, figure how their calls would be affected by their standard broadband line.
The NEED:
The very nature of a call centre dictates that the company phone system is a main focus within the business. So when 5G was able to provide Datacallers UK with a high spec IP enabled telephone system, they were very happy at the prospect on saving money on their day-to-day calls. But when they started to make the IP calls, they found that the call quality just wasn't what it should be.
"When 5G informed us that we could save money on calls using our brand new Telephone System, we were ecstatic," comments campaign leader Joe Talbot. "The only problem came when we tried to make calls from the new system. It's all very well and good having cheaper calls, but it's no use if you can't talk to your customers!"
The SOLUTION:
Datacallers simply did not have the right level of broadband for a company of their nature attempting to make calls over IP. They told us about their dilemma and we were able to move their solution over to their own leased line. With our leased line solutions, we offer QoS (Quality of Service) so now Datacallers can specify their ideal priority levels within the data traffic travelling across their line
