Will my broadband speeds change with the 21CN roll out?

Perhaps, but only for the better...

The theory of the 21CN roll out is to create a merger between digital and existing analogue lines to offer customers who currently experience poor or slow broadband connections, a faster more reliable service.

The planned effect that the roll out will have is that, like fibre optic broadband, customers will experience similar broadband speeds regardless of their distance from the local exchange. Those who are already close to the local exchange, may not experience much change in their broadband performance. But for many customers this will mean faster broadband as the digital element of their connection will mean that information is able to travel at much faster speeds, so particularly for those at the farthest point from your local telephone exchange there will be a noticeable improvement in broadband speed.

So, with the roll out of 21CN, wherever you are, you will be able to feel the full benefit of your broadband service with, at the very least, the speeds that have been promised to you by your chosen provider.

Put simply, things are only going to get better!
