Working in a sales environment, the location of my employees can be somewhat unpredictable, during the working day. With my sales staff based all over the country, a big problem for us was salesmen missing important sales calls while out in the field. As any business dealing in sales will understand, every missed phone call is a missed opportunity and with almost nobody in the office on a day-to-day business, this was becoming a frequent reality for me and my staff.
Not wanting to waste time, all the while missing more business opportunities, I contacted 5G to talk about the prospect of call forwarding, so that calls could be redirected to my sales staffs' mobiles out in the field. The lovely lady that I spoke to at 5G advised me that while call forwarding was an option, there may be another solution that would suit my company even better...
She drew my attention to a service that they currently offer, called "Inbound". Inbound is a call management system that can be used to control all incoming call traffic to your business, meaning that I could indicate exactly where I wanted my calls to be directed at any time of the day.
The solution was perfect for me so I signed up that day. Soon after I was provided with my own login details for the web-based Inbound system and the level of call management that I found within was amazing. With MyInbound, I can divert calls straight to my staff in the field but what's more is that I have set up a routing plan that allows me to dictate when and where calls are routed to at different times of day, without having to keep updating it.
Since signing up to Inbound, my sales calls are always answered and opportunities never missed. I've certainly got a feeling that when the next quarterly figures arrive, I shall be seeing vast improvements in my business, all because my calls are now managed properly!
