Web Hosting Case Study

"I'd always wanted a web presence for my business..."

Running a car garage, I have always been very good with motors but I don't mind saying that when it comes to computers and the internet, I am not very technically minded. This posed a problem for me when it came to creating a web presense for my business. My garage had always done reasonably well through word of mouth advertisement and frequent loyal customers always made sure that the garage kept ticking over, making a profit. But I had always felt that I could be so much more successful if I had a web presence.

I had a website designed by a family friend and it looked "the business", so I was keen to get it online as soon as possible. As I found out, it was not as simple as all that as my friend explained to me that the website would need to be hosted by somebody. I had no idea so much went into keeping a website online (I even had to pay for the website address)!

Not knowing which way to turn, and wanting my site online fast, I contacted my communications provider, 5G, on the off chance that they might be able to guide me in the right direction of a hosting company who could help me out. To my surprise, 5G informed me that they could take care of my web hosting and simply add a small additional charge on to my monthly invoice. Happy days!

It was great, 5G took care of everything; they found and registered the perfect domain name for me, put the website online through their web server and they even manage the site for me so I can be sure that if ever there was a problem, 5G would be on hand to rectify it for me.

Now I have the web presence that I had always wanted and business is better than ever, all thanks to 5G.

Needless to say, I am one very happy technophobe!
