Every day, Robert Jackson was risking his license, his job and most importantly his life by making all of his business calls while out on the road. That is, until 5G came up with the perfect solution to help Rob make all the calls he desired whilst eliminating himself as a risk to himself and other road users.

The NEED:

As a travelling salesman, Robert Jackson is always on the move. Often driving between jobs and various other prospects, Robert has little time to make business calls meaning he has always had to make the all important calls whilst out driving on the road. As new laws state, after recognising the inherent dangers of dialling and driving, this is no longer an acceptable action to take while driving.

"I knew it was dangerous," Mr Jackson remarks. "But I literally had no other time to make calls during the day. If I wasn't in a sales meeting, or with a client, I was travelling to one. I had been warned by friends many times and it also cost me £60 and 3 points on my license when I was pulled over by the police one time. It wasn't the ideal solution."

The SOLUTION:

As the provider of Robert's mobile phone solution, we were shocked and disappointed to hear about his misuse of his phone. We also recognised the strain of a sales driven environment so it was important for us to find a safe solution that allowed Robert to continue with his day-to-day work. As the best solution we could find to Robert's specific problem, 5G was able to provide a bluetooth hands-free headset which allows Robert to talk and drive as much as he desires, while most importantly keeping himself and other road users safe.

"I never truly realised just how distracting it was just to hold a phone to your ear while driving, and playing with my phone to find numbers was even more dangerous. With my new headset I can dial the number I need, just by using my voice, and conferences while out on the road have never been easier."
